About FX Auditor
We are a broker-testing desk. We open live accounts, put our own money into them, trade them, and take the money back out — then publish what happened. That is the entire business.
Why the desk exists
The forex review industry has a credibility problem that is not subtle. Most "top broker" lists are ordered by commission rate, and the reviews behind them are frequently written by someone who has never completed the broker's own onboarding form, let alone waited for a payout.
We exist as the opposite reference point. Every claim on this site has a test behind it, every score has a working shown, and the whole protocol is published so a reader can check whether it was actually followed.
What we actually do
A test cycle runs for months. We complete the same application as any reader, deposit our own capital, place at least forty live orders per platform in both quiet and news conditions, sample spreads repeatedly through the London and New York sessions, and then request the entire balance back and time it.
Those measurements produce 140 scored variables per broker across eight weighted pillars. The data explorer shows the fields we publish; the methodology page shows how they are collected.
How we are funded
Affiliate commission, paid by brokers when a reader opens an account through one of our outbound links. We say this plainly because the alternative — pretending otherwise — is exactly the behaviour that makes the rest of the sector unreadable.
What that money cannot buy: a score, a ranking position, an award, a removed weakness, or advance sight of a review. Scoring completes before commercial terms are discussed, and the analyst producing a ranking cannot see whether a relationship exists. The full terms are in our affiliate disclosure.
Who checks the work
Every review names the analyst who ran it and the person who fact-checked it. Priya Nair verifies every regulatory claim against the issuing authority's public register before anything publishes. You can meet the team on the analysts page.
Corrections
Broker terms change constantly, and some of what is published here will go out of date between ninety-day re-tests. If you find something wrong, tell us — factual corrections are made and logged. Scores, by contrast, are not renegotiable after publication.
