2026 Annual Review
The 2026 Annual Broker Awards
Eight categories, decided at the end of a 14-month testing cycle in which every broker below was opened, funded with our own capital, traded and then fully withdrawn from. No broker was told it was in contention, no broker saw a result before publication, and no category is for sale.

Best for Beginners
Low entry cost combined with tier-1 oversight and gentle platforms
We score the first two weeks of a new trader's life: how little money is needed to start, whether a tier-1 regulator stands behind the entity, and how much the education library actually teaches.
| Rank | Broker | Overall | Trust | Tier-1 | Citation | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Its offering of competitive pricing models, multiple established trading platforms, and a focused product range positions it as a strong contender for serious forex and CFD traders. While not the broadest in terms of asset classes, its strengths in safety, technology, and execution are evident.
Best Platform Selection
Platform pillar score, breadth of platforms and order tooling
Measured on the live account: how many genuinely distinct platforms are offered, how deep the order and automation tooling goes, and whether the mobile build keeps parity with desktop.

Judge's note on FxPro: FxPro stands as a reputable and well-established broker, founded in 2006 and headquartered in London. Its primary strength lies in its robust regulatory framework, featuring licenses from the FCA, CySEC, FSCA, and SCB, which instils confidence regarding fund security and operational transparency. The platform selection is a significant advantage, offering the industry-standard MetaTrader 4 and 5, alongside cTrader, appealing to a wide spectrum of trading preferences. Competitive pricing, particularly on raw spread accounts, further enhances its appeal. While its educational content could be more comprehensive for beginners, the broker's focus on execution quality and diverse market access positions it strongly for experienced CFD traders.
Best for Regulation
Highest regulatory reach across tier-1 and tier-2 registers
Awarded on verified licence coverage, not on claims. Every entry was cross-checked against the register of the authority named, and offshore-only wrappers were discounted heavily.

While not the broadest in terms of asset classes, its strengths in safety, technology, and execution are evident.
Best for Withdrawals
Fastest, cleanest full-balance withdrawal in testing
We emptied every account at the end of testing and timed it from request to cleared funds, logging every fee deducted along the way. This is the pillar where weak brokers reveal themselves.
| Rank | Broker | Overall | Trust | Tier-1 | Citation | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Exness | 8.1 | 64 | 1 | 9.2/10 on the payout pillar — Forex and CFD traders prioritising low trading costs, high leverage, and rapid fund transfers. | Visit |

Judge's note on Exness: Exness provides a cost-effective trading environment with commendable transaction speeds, though its regulatory profile requires careful consideration.
Best Research & Education
Quality, independence and cadence of in-house research
Judged over a full month of published output — not the size of the video library, but whether a working trader would be better informed after reading it.
| Rank | Broker | Overall | Trust | Tier-1 | Citation | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | XM | 8.2 | 65 | 1 | 8.8/10 on research — Traders prioritising access to MetaTrader platforms, requiring substantial educational resources, and seeking a broker with varied account types. | Visit |

Best Product Range
Breadth of instruments actually tradable on the live account
Counted inside the funded account. Instruments that appear on the marketing site but are unavailable to the entity you are onboarded to did not count.
| Rank | Broker | Overall | Trust | Tier-1 | Citation | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Judge's note on eToro: eToro positions itself as a social investment platform, excelling in its CopyTrader functionality and extensive asset offering. While its fee structure is not uniformly the most competitive across all instruments, and support response times can fluctuate, its regulatory standing and user-friendly interface make it a viable option for those seeking a community-driven trading experience.
How an award is decided
Each category has one defining measurement, stated at the top of its section. That measurement is taken from the evidence recorded during testing — spread samples, timed withdrawals, register checks, order logs — and never from a broker's own material or from a press release.
Where two brokers finish within a rounding step of each other, the tie is broken by the pillar that defines the category, and if they are still level, by trust score. Commercial relationship is never a tiebreak and is not visible to the analyst producing the ranking.
Awards are re-run once per annual cycle and are not carried forward. A broker that won last year starts this year with no advantage; several categories changed hands when payout times moved.
The people who make these calls are named. James Cole runs the execution work, Priya Nair signs off every regulatory claim, and Marco Rossi handles platform and pricing comparison. Between them they have opened 85 live accounts. Analyst profiles →
