Desk file · 2026 edition · record confidence: high

Equiti

We opened the file on Equiti the way we open every file: register first, marketing never. Trading since 2008, run out of Mahe, Seychelles, and carrying 5 licence entries on the public record, 1 of them tier-1.

EUR/USD 1.40 pips · cost per 10 lots $not verified · minimum deposit not verified · leverage cap up to 1:2000 (Seychelles entity)

Measured

What the two desk scores say

Both are out of 10 and both are computed, not felt.

Cost scorePriced off the spread basis below, not off a headline rate card.not verified
Safety scoreWeighted on licence tier and on how many of the entries we could re-read at source.not verified
Cost per 10 lotsTen round-turn EUR/USD lots priced at the spread basis, commission excluded.$not verified

Spread basis. . Nothing on this page is a live quote; a spread printed on a Tuesday afternoon is not the spread you get thirty seconds after a non-farm payroll release.

Which entity actually holds your money is decided at signup, by the country on your application — not by the strongest licence in this table. Read the client agreement you are handed, then match the entity name against the row above.

What we were able to confirm

Confirmed at source

  6. Equiti's group history states Divisa Capital Group was incorporated in 2008; Equiti Group Ltd acquired the Divisa group in 2017 and the brand was rebranded from Divisa to Equiti in 2018 (https://www.equiti.com/sc-en/about-us/).
  7. Equiti Brokerage (Seychelles) Limited, the entity behind the equiti.com/sc-en site, gives its registered address as Suite 3, Global Village, Jivan's Complex, Mont Fleuri, Mahe, Seychelles in its Risk Warning Disclosure (https://eqcrm04zdocuments.blob.core.windows.net/legal-documents/3ef4980d-d281-a342-2263-64fec274f54b/SC%20-%20Risk%20Disclousure%20Warning.pdf).
  8. The Seychelles entity's Risk Warning Disclosure states clients 'are liable for any losses' and that it is possible to 'lose more money than your initial invested deposit'; its automatic close-out at 30% margin level is described as reducing but not eliminating that risk (same PDF URL).
Gaps

Not verified

Not verified

The following could not be traced to a primary source at the time of filing. We publish the gap rather than a number that would look tidier:

  • founding year
  • headquarters
  • minimum deposit
  • maximum leverage
  • EUR/USD spread
  • account types
  • segregated funds
  • negative balance protection
  • Kenya, UAE, Jordan and Armenia licence numbers
  • minDeposit — varies by account type on the Seychelles accounts page: Classic 'No minimum deposit', Standard $30, Premier 'Deposits from $100'; no single figure.
  • spreadEurusd — the accounts page states 'Average spreads of 1.4 pips' (Standard) and 1.6 pips (Classic) without labelling the pair as EURUSD; Premier advertises 'spreads from 0.0 pips' (raw/commission account).
  • hq — the group's about page names offices in London, Dubai, Amman and Limassol but does not state a single headquarters; the registered office of the client-facing Seychelles entity (Mahe, Seychelles) was used instead.
  • founded — the 2008 Divisa Capital Group incorporation is from the broker's own history timeline, not independently registry-verified.

Other records open on the desk

CFDs are complex instruments with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. A desk file is a record of what the public register said on the day we read it, not a recommendation to open an account.
