FXDD

We opened the file on FXDD the way we open every file: register first, marketing never. Trading since 2003, with no head office we were able to confirm from a primary source, and carrying 1 licence entry on the public record, 0 of them tier-1.

Measured

What the two desk scores say

Both are out of 10 and both are computed, not felt.

Cost scorePriced off the spread basis below, not off a headline rate card.not verified
Safety scoreWeighted on licence tier and on how many of the entries we could re-read at source.not verified
Cost per 10 lotsTen round-turn EUR/USD lots priced at the spread basis, commission excluded.$not verified

Spread basis. . Nothing on this page is a live quote; a spread printed on a Tuesday afternoon is not the spread you get thirty seconds after a non-farm payroll release.

On the record

What we were able to confirm

Confirmed at source

  1. The MFSA published a notice that Triton Capital Markets Ltd (Malta company C 48817, formerly FXDD Malta Limited, LEI 549300GVL196DN9P3377) requested and the MFSA accepted the surrender of its Class 2 Investment Services Licence with effect from 25 August 2026, describing the surrender as entirely voluntary and not the result of regulatory action.
  2. Finance Magnates reported in August 2026 that FXDD was left without EU authorisation after the surrender, and that Belgium's FSMA had recorded 24 March 2026 as the end date for Triton's cross-border permission in Belgium.
  3. FXDD's own website (fxdd.com /pe/en/about, checked September 2026) still states that FXDD Malta holds a Category 3 licence from the MFSA - stale after the surrender notice.
  4. FXDD's company page says the brand adopted MetaTrader starting with MT3 in 2003, later MT4 and MT5, and reports 22 years of industry experience and 450,000+ clients.

The following could not be traced to a primary source at the time of filing. We publish the gap rather than a number that would look tidier:

  • hq: current HQ not verified after the Malta licence surrender
  • legalEntities: no currently active licence found for the brand; media report it unregulated, not verified on a register
  • minDeposit: not verified
  • maxLeverage: not verified
  • spreadEurusd: not verified
  • accountTypes: not verified
  • instruments: not verified from a legal page
  • segregatedFunds: own site headline claims segregation under the former Malta licence; T&C not verified
  • negativeBalanceProtection: not verified
  • publiclyListed: current ownership unclear (media name Currency Mountain Malta LLC as Triton's direct owner)
