Grand Capital

We opened the file on Grand Capital the way we open every file: register first, marketing never. Trading since 2006, run out of Mahé, Seychelles, and carrying 1 licence entry on the public record, 0 of them tier-1.

Measured

What the two desk scores say

Both are out of 10 and both are computed, not felt.

Cost scorePriced off the spread basis below, not off a headline rate card.not verified
Safety scoreWeighted on licence tier and on how many of the entries we could re-read at source.not verified
Cost per 10 lotsTen round-turn EUR/USD lots priced at the spread basis, commission excluded.$not verified

Spread basis. . Nothing on this page is a live quote; a spread printed on a Tuesday afternoon is not the spread you get thirty seconds after a non-farm payroll release.

On the record

What we were able to confirm

Confirmed at source

  1. Grand Capital states it was founded in 2006 and holds Mwali International Services Authority brokerage licence BFX2024219, issued 9 November 2024.
  2. The Financial Services Authority of Seychelles published a notice on 1 July 2024 stating that Grand Capital Limited has at no point been authorised under sections 46(1) and (2) of the Securities Act 2007 to deal in securities in Seychelles (https://fsaseychelles.sc/media-corner/regulatory-updates/scam-alert-grand-capital-ltd-fraudulent-company-the-fraudulent-company-and-unauthorized-use-of-website-the-unlawful-websites).
  3. Grand Capital's own site describes the company as an International Business Company registered in Seychelles and licensed in the Comoros.
  4. The Comoros/Mwali (MISA) regime is an offshore registration and is not equivalent to tier-1 supervision.
  5. Grand Capital's about page states the company has provided trading and investment services since 2006 and describes Grand Capital Limited as an International Business Company registered in the Seychelles (registered at Oceanic House, Providence Estate, Mahé) and licensed in the Comoros (https://grandcapital.net/about/).
  6. Grand Capital's regulation page states client capital is held "in segregated accounts with top-tier international banks" (https://grandcapital.net/about/regulation/).
  7. Grand Capital's trading page states trading starts "with a minimum deposit of 10 USD" and its account comparison table lists leverage up to 1:3000 for at least one account type, alongside Micro, Standard, ECN Prime and Swap Free accounts (https://grandcapital.net/trading/).
Gaps

Not verified

The following could not be traced to a primary source at the time of filing. We publish the gap rather than a number that would look tidier:

  • headquarters
  • minimum deposit
  • maximum leverage
  • EUR/USD spread
  • account types
  • segregated funds
  • negative balance protection
  • spreadEurusd — only advertised floors published ("spread from 0" on floating accounts, "from 1 pip" on fixed); no typical EURUSD figure
  • negativeBalanceProtection — no NBP statement found in the Client Agreement (dated 13 Apr 2026) or the Risk Disclosure (checked 20 Aug 2026)
  • maxLeverage per-account mapping — the trading-page table shows leverage rows up to 1:3000 while the site's own blog comparison lists Micro/Standard up to 1:500 and ECN up to 1:100; per-account mapping not resolvable from the page structure
  • minDeposit per-account mapping — table column order (which of $100/$500 columns belongs to Standard/Swap Free/ECN Prime) not resolvable; brand minimum of $10 is stated on both about and trading pages

Other records open on the desk

CFDs are complex instruments with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. A desk file is a record of what the public register said on the day we read it, not a recommendation to open an account.
